Even Flow Now Open at Royal Victoria Place

On Sunday 29th January, Royal Victoria Place welcomed a new café and record store, even flow, a one-of-a-kind music café with a community focus.

The new family-run vendor offer visitors the unique opportunity to peruse a wide variety of secondhand records, merchandise, and music books, whilst they enjoy specialty coffee, delicious teas, hot chocolate, and artisan cakes and pastries.

The opening marks even flow’s second store location, with their flagship store and café residing on St John’s Road in Tunbridge Wells. The quirky concept was inspired by store’s owners Matt and Fabiana Lord’s passion for live music and hobby of collecting records, coupled with their experience of working in the coffee industry.

As well as hot drinks and tasty homemade snacks, locals can also treat themselves to a refreshing pick-me-up at the café, with their wider menu including smoothies, milkshakes, juices, and a range of alcoholic beverages, including local craft beers and cider to a selection of finely sourced wines.

Matt and Fabs change their menu seasonally and cook and bake many of the products themselves, with the team’s Italian and Brazilian heritage lending itself to their exotic recipes.

Alongside their introductory offer offer of a free hot drink when you spend £20 on records, the café is also set to host regular discounts throughout the year, with these to be announced on their social media channels. Currently, those who are members of the TN Card can enjoy 10% off all food and drink.

Over the past year, Royal Victoria Place has welcomed a range of independent businesses, including The Green Duck Emporium and hairdressers Belgravia.

even flow is open seven days a week at Royal Victoria Place from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Saturday, and 10.00am to 4.00pm on Sundays.
