RVP will be celebrating the ‘Year of the Women’ with an ‘All Women Fashion Event’ taking place on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 May hosted by leading female fashion writer and presenter, Caryn Franklin, MBE.   

Caryn was the former fashion editor for i-D Magazine and presenter of the BBC Clothes Show which ran prime-time for 12 years. Caryn has interviewed all leading international design talent, amongst them Giorgio Armani, Tom Ford, Yves St Laurent, Marc Jacobs, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and many more. A personal and professional stylist, Caryn has worked with many individuals and high street labels plus she has written four books and regularly writes for leading fashion publication.

The two day fashion filled event will showcase the season’s hottest new trends for women aged between 20 and 70 from over 25 of the centre’s leading fashion, footwear and accessory stores. The specially choreographed shows will include print clash, pastels, colour drenching, 80’s remix, mono mania, athletic chic and denim luxe. 

FASHION TARGETS BREAST CANCER
RVP is delighted to be supporting ‘Fashion Targets Breast Cancer’ as the charity for this event. The charity which unites the world of fashion against breast cancer has raised more than £15million and helps fund Breast Cancer Now’s vital life-saving breast cancer research.

KENT COLLEGE FASHION SHOWS
Thursday 24 May 
Student Fashion Shows at 5pm, 6pm & 7pm

Level 1 opposite M&S

As part of this unique fashion event to mark the year of the women, RVP will be partnering with Kent College to showcase the work of aspiring young female fashion designers. The shows will feature designs by students aged between 14 and 18 years of age.  A special fashion exhibition of Kent College students work will also be on display at RVP between 24 May and 3 June.
