Little Monsters Reading Book Swop Shop

Located in the Customer Service unit on the Lower Mall, the Little Monsters Reading Book Swop Shop offers a calm and quiet space for little ones to lose themselves in a book, with chairs provided to sit with a family member and enjoy the latest titles.

Customers are invited to bring unwanted books to the Book Swop Shop where children can exchange them for free. Even if you don’t have a book to swap, children are welcome to explore the selection and take home a book of their choosing – and don’t forget to get a Little Monsters sticker on the way out.

To celebrate this year’s World Book Day (Thursday 3rd March), there are a range of new books in the Little Monsters Reading Book Swop Shop. From best-sellers to pop-up books and novels for older children, including the classics Elmer by David McKee, The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson and We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen, as well as Paddington by Michael Bond.
