For those that cannot afford the service we have the option of the Assistance programme which offers the same service on a donations basis.
British Red Cross Mobility Aids Service operates on a not-for-profit basis. All proceeds will be used to deliver this service across the UK, helping people, whoever and wherever they are. We can also offer assistance and support to those who may not be able to meet the costs.

About British Red Cross:
· The British Red Cross is the biggest national provider of short-term wheelchair loans.
· The service is provided by over 100 staff and 1,000 volunteers.
· Last year, from our eight warehouses, 165 local outlets and a growing number of mobile and home delivery services, we provided 50,000 pieces of equipment people in need. We also sell wheelchairs and daily living aids online at store.redcross.org.uk. Profits from this go back into supporting our more vulnerable service users.
